Garlic Mushroom

  1. Garlic Mushroom or Bhuna spicy mushroom                                                                                                Ingredients:
  • Button mushroom cubes/slices 2 Cups
  • Butter or Oil         2 tbsps
  • Onion slices        2 pcs
  • Garlic paste        1 tsp
  • Turmeric              ¼tsp
  • Clove                    3 pcs
  • Cumin                   ¼tsp
  • Zinger                   ¼tsp
  • Salt                       ¼ tsp
  • Green chilli chopped                    1-2 pcs
  • Coriander leaves chopped          1 tbsp
  • Cheese chopped                           1  tbsp
  • Egg                                                  1 pc

How to make garlic mushroom:

  • Mushroom cubes to be boiled on a bowl until evaporation of water and boiled mushroom to be collected in a separate plate.
  • Pan to be heated with butter/oil
  • Addition of onion, garlic paste, green chilli, turmeric, salt and other spices etc
  • After 5-10 minutes add boiled mushroom cubes.
  • Cook them for 5 minutes at low heat.
  • Lastly egg to be spread on the mushroom cubes and properly mixing
  • Serve in individual bowl and spread green coriander leaves over the hot garlic mushroom.

Serve it hot 

2. Noodles with Mushroom


  • Button Mushroom 250 gm
  • Noodles 250 gm
  • Soya sauce 2 tbsps
  • Oil 5 tbsps
  • Onion 2 pcs
  • Green chilies As required
  • Salt As required
  • Egg       1 pc
  • Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp
  • Tasting salt As required

How to make Noodles with mushroom:

  • Boil noodles in a pan with salt.
  • When it softens, remove from pan and wash with cold water.
  • Wash mushroom.
  • Finely chop onions.
  • Beat egg with soya sauce, black pepper and salt.
  • Heat oil in a pan and fry onions lightly.
  • Then add egg mixture and fry again.
  • Cook for 2 minutes with mushroom and then add noodles, green chilies and tasting salt.
  • Fry for 1 minute and remove it from the flame.

Serve noodles with mushroom in hot condition.

3. Mushroom Soup


  • Button mushroom slices 2 Cups ( Mostly blended & few mushroom slices)
  • Chicken or Vegetable Stock 2 Cups
  • Milk 1 Cup
  • Onion slices 2 pcs
  • Salt ¼ tsp
  • Corn- flour 1 tbsps
  • Black pepper powder ¼ tsp
  • Butter or margarine 2 tbsps
  • Coriander leaves chopped 1 tsp
  • Cheese chopped 1  tbsps



How to make mushroom soup:

  • Boil the mushroom and onion with chicken or vegetable stock
  • Remove the pan when mushroom are boiled
  • Blend the boiled mushroom in blender
  • Now add cheese, salt and black pepper powder
  • Mix corn-flour and some milk then add the mushrooms
  • Cook them for 5 minutes at low heat and add rest of the milk.
  • Serve in individual bowl with cheese slices and pour the hot soup on it and spread green coriander leaves over the hot soup.
  • Serve it hot.

4. Mushroom Pulao


  • Button mushroom 1 cup
  • Basmati rice 2 cups
  • Cheese( Cubed) 1 cup
  • Onion (chopped )                                  2 cups
  • Garam masala powder 1 tbsp
  • Ginger-garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Oil 5 tbsps
  • Coriander leaves chopped             1 tbsp
  • Mint leaves chopped 1 tbsp
  • Cinnamon sticks, cloves, cardamom as required
  • Salt as required


How to make Mushroom Pulao:

  • Clean and wash the rice. Soak in water for 15 to 20 minutes
  • Heat 2 tbsps of oil in a big sauce pan and fry the spices lightly.
  • Fry half of the onions till they turn golden brown. Add ginger- garlic paste. Keep frying till

  a nice aroma comes out.

  • Now mix the mushrooms and the cheese cubes along with the garam masala powder.
  • Add a cup of water and salt as required.
  • Simmer at a low heat till it is cooked. The gravy should be slightly thick.
  • Add oil in another pan. Heat oil then add rest of onions chopped and fry till golden brown.
  • Now add the drained rice. Fry for some times, then pour 4 cups of water and add salt to


  • Cook till the pulao is ready.
  • Take another big saucepan. Put one third of the rice in it. Sprinkle a little of the chopped

 green coriander and mint leaves over it.

  • Then spread one third of the cheese and mushrooms mixture over it
  • Put the second portion of rice on this layer followed by a sprinkling of the coriander and

  mint leaves.

  • Spread the second layer of the cheese mushrooms masala.
  • Do the same with remaining one-third of rice, cheese and mushrooms masala.
  • Close a tight fitting lid and put the saucepan in a preheated oven for about 5 minutes.
  • Serve it hot.


5. Chicken with Mushroom


  • Chicken 1 pc
  • Button Mushroom 250 gm
  • Onion chopped 3 pcs
  • Onion paste ¼ cup
  • Ginger paste 1 tbsp
  • Garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Turmeric paste 1 tsp
  • Chilies paste 2 tsps
  • Cumin paste          ½  tsp
  • Coriander paste 1 tsp
  • Black pepper paste ½ tsp
  • Cardamom 4 pcs
  • Cinnamon sticks 3 pcs
  • Cloves 2 pcs
  • Salt as required
  • Oil                as required

How to make chicken with mushroom in tomato sauce:

  • Cut the chicken into pieces.
  • Finely wash the mushroom then cut into slices.
  • Mix mushroom, all spices, salt and oil together in a pan with chicken .
  • Boil it with one cup of water
  • When chicken is done, heat oil in another pan and fry chopped onion. When it turns

  brown, add chicken and fry for 2-3 minutes.

  • Now add half cup of water and cover the pan. When the gravy is thick, remove it from the flame.
  • Serve with rice or paratha.
